Caring for Your Jewellery

Every Moore Jewellery piece is designed to be worn and cherished, day after day.

Our pieces are handcrafted from 14k gold-filled materials and high-lustre freshwater pearls, made to last through daily wear when treated with a little care.

To help your jewellery stay as beautiful as the day it arrived:

Avoid water and chemicals: Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions and perfume.
Handle with care: Fine chains and wire components are delicate by nature. Avoid pulling or bending with force to maintain their shape.
Store thoughtfully: Keep your pieces in a soft pouch or jewellery box to prevent tangling and surface scratches.
Avoid direct sunlight and heat: To protect the natural lustre of pearls, store them away from prolonged sunlight or high temperatures.
Polish gently: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to restore your jewellery’s natural glow.

Your jewellery doesn’t require perfect care, just a little attention. The beauty of gold-filled is that it’s made to last, and pearls only grow more luminous when worn often.

Deep Clean (Occasional Care)

Every so often, your jewellery deserves a little extra care to remove product residue and restore its natural glow.

Fill a small bowl with warm water and a few drops of mild fragrance-free soap. Let your piece soak for 2-3 minutes minutes to loosen everyday oils and residue. Using a soft toothbrush, gently clean chains and clasps, avoiding brushing the pearls. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, then pat dry with a soft cloth and gently buff to bring back the shine.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, jewellery dips, or ultrasonic cleaners, as these can damage gold-filled finishes and natural materials.

Deep cleaning after frequent wear, will help keep your piece looking beautiful for years to come.

1-Year Warranty Promise

We stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece. Moore Jewellery offers a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering:

Manufacturing faults (such as loose components, faulty clasps, or breakage under normal wear).
Tarnishing or discolouration inconsistent with gold-filled material standards.
Defects in materials or craftsmanship.

Your warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, impact, or bending of fine wires or chain under strain.
Natural wear and tear (such as surface scratches, oxidation over time, or stretching).
Loss or theft.
Damage from exposure to chemicals, perfume, or water.

If your piece needs attention within the warranty period, please email hello@moorejewellery.com with your order number, a photo of the issue, and a brief description. We’ll inspect the piece and repair or replace it where possible.

For repairs beyond the warranty period, we offer paid repair services at a small fee because we believe beautiful things should be worn for years to come.
