I’m the founder and designer behind Moore Jewellery.
Every piece begins with me, sitting in my Wellington studio, selecting pearls and shaping designs by hand. This is a one woman studio built slowly, intentionally, and with care.
Moore Jewellery was created for women who want jewellery that feels personal. Not mass produced and trend-driven. Pieces that help you feel confident, put together, and quietly elevated in your everyday life.
A belief in everyday beauty
I believe jewellery should not be saved for special occasions. It should be worn while living your life. At home, at work, out running errands. In all the small moments that make up a day.
The right piece does more than complete an outfit, it changes how you feel. A subtle sense of confidence, a feeling of ease, and a reminder that you have chosen yourself, even in something small.
That belief sits at the heart of Moore Jewellery.
How it all began
My fascination with jewellery started early. I grew up watching my grandmother wear jewellery all the time, no matter what she was doing. It was never about dressing up - jewellery was simply part of her. That stayed with me.
I have always loved making things by hand. Sewing for myself. Arts and crafts. Making jewellery as a child. Creating has always felt natural.
The idea for Moore Jewellery truly clicked after I bought a handcrafted necklace from a local shop. In that moment, everything made sense. I instantly knew how I could combine my love for wearing jewellery, my love for working with my hands, and the desire to build something meaningful. A business rooted in care, creativity, and improving how people feel in their everyday lives.
Designed with intention, made by hand
Every piece of Moore Jewellery is designed and made by me in my Wellington studio.
I work slowly and intentionally, believing deeply in quality over quantity. These are not pieces designed to be replaced. They are designed to live with you, age beautifully, and become part of your story.
My signature style often features spaced pearls along fine gold filled chains. A balance of structure and softness. Refined, but easy to wear.
Each piece is made to order, so you know you getting a pieces as unique as you are.
Materials chosen for longevity
I use sustainably sourced freshwater pearls, selected for their lustre and character rather than perfect uniformity.
All components are 14k gold filled, containing a thick layer of solid gold bonded to a core metal. This offers the look and feel of solid gold with durability suited to everyday wear.
Wire wrapping is done by hand, allowing each pearl to sit naturally and move gently with you. These techniques are chosen not only for beauty, but for strength and longevity.
A little more about me
Sustainability and natural materials matter deeply to me. I wear only natural fibres and keep a curated wardrobe. My home is filled only with pieces I truly love.
I am drawn to vintage decor and a good second hand find. Objects with history, and things made to last.
When I am not in the studio, you will find me playing with my toddler daughter, reading on my Kindle, watching a documentary, or wandering Wellington in search of something thoughtfully made.
